Springtime Along the Sauratown Mountains

As we jump into summer, I wanted to sum up my latest spring video and photographic collection from the Sauratown Mountains of NC.  This spring was full of surprises, including the tornadoes that went through Yadkin and Stokes County on May 25, 2017.  The images and video that I captured reflect the scenic landscapes, vibrant skies and stormy weather, all part of made this season beautiful.

The Sauratown Mountains, sometimes referred to ‘The Mountains Away from the Mountains’ is located within an hour from Greensboro and Winston-Salem, and includes the more commonly known Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock. A range of wildflowers make appearances during the video, but the mountain laurel this year was gorgeous and can be seen throughout the video.
