I finally developed my 4×5 film from my last 2 blog posts! (https://exploringnc.wordpress.com/2013/07/20/towering-storms-and-sunflowers/)
It was great to finally see what I had captured…two images from a swamp near Thomasville NC, and one image of a storm taken from a sunflower field north of Lexington.
This first image I used a lens swing on the Alpina 4×5 camera to change the plane of focus so it was hitting the sticks in the water but not the bridge.
This next picture was taken about 30 minutes later of some lillypads also using a lens swing method.
And finally, here is my first 4×5 image from a storm chase! I have tried a few times to lug this huge camera with me, but it takes a lot of time to set it up. I am so glad the timing finally worked out.
