My first post about an adventure! I ended up chasing a storm that popped up near Galax Va early this week (5/20/13). I started off by hitting the blue ridge parkway and set off to find a foreground. I often forget how hard it is to find a foreground when you need one…but I drove along and kept looking until I found a couple of interesting spots. The first had some cows and so I tried to have a cow in front of the storm. I had to park in the road for this shot so I made it quick!
After the cow I kept following the storm until dark. The contrast of pink and orange in this storm make it one amazing sunset.
